A couple years ago the producers at BT Sport asked about the UK coverage of Indycar. Well, BT Sport would like to know your views again. Given this is an important year for Indycar, they would like to get it right for fans in the watching UK. They would love to hear your thoughts, be open, honest and importantly make suggestions on any subject (which if twitter proves anything, you can be!). Share your thoughts on full pre race, UK studio, UK commentary, number of (acceptable number of) commercial breaks, side-by-side coverage, red button, continuous race coverage and so on... All feedback and suggestions are gratefully appreciated.

replays of races would be good and qualifying

Far too many advert breaks, completely ruins the enjoyment. Sky had UK pundits to cover this, why not treat as a proper f1 rival and show qualifying

Agree but show practice, qualifying, Warm up (Road/Street circuits) and race on TV channel.

Great to see Indycar back on BT Sport. Some UK expert analysis would certainly help the experience.

I recorded the race as I was busy watching other things, plus I can fast forward the adverts and when the yellow flags come out, the Radio Times said the race was on from 16:30 to 19:30, I happened to look at my Sky+ box just after 19:00 and noticed the recording had finished so when the adverts came on in the thing I was watching I checked the EPG and it said the coverage finished at 19:00. When I watched the race this morning, sure enough the recording ended before the race had finished even with the box set to automatic with regards adding time to the end of recordings. This is not the first time this has happened and it's really annoying.

Maybe studio coverage with the team talking about the race during ad-breaks.

Two things I dislike are the huge number of ad breaks during the races (especially as I'm paying a subscription for BT Sport) and as already commented, the recording on Sky+ stopped before the end of the race. This has happened many times before. Ideally I'd have Ben Edwards and Jeremy Shaw commentating like in the late 1990's/early 2000's but that is never going to happen.

first race was fine, only issue from last year is races not matching EPG so recorded races often last longer than coverage. Happy with USA coverage, even if some of it is awful. Better than nothing to be honest

Echoing the comments above, far too many advert breaks.

Ok with UK studios, but have them on location for Indy GP, Indy 500 qualifying and race.

I've always been awre of Indycar, ever sine the days of Nigel Mansell winning. But it's always been an elusive, impossible to watch series.

Is it me or is the commentating (both on the US and UK side) getting worse?
