So that was the 2012 IZOD Indycar season, and what a way to finish with the title only being decided on the last lap of a 500 mile race with Ryan Hunter-Reay taking the championship by only 3 points from three time runner up Will Power.
That is the on track action done with for the year, but plenty still to be involved with on the IndyCarUK site, as well as the Facebook page and Twitter account. The Facebook page has around 30 likes in a week so get liking! The twitter account has around 125 followers in just under a week so keep spreading the word, but this website has had the best part of 1000 views in only a couple days and is where you can get involved with your own blog posts on anything Indycar related from drivers, teams, tracks to rules, future or past. If you haven't written one before maybe need some help get in touch and we can see what we can do to help out.
I have a couple of interviews lined up with drivers and Indycar crew which will be posted over the next couple weeks so keep your eyes open for those on here.
Just to end with a message of congratulations to Ryan Hunter-Reay and would like to point you towards his charity work, and organisation called 'Racing for Cancer' which holds money raising events throughout the year which are great fun to attend (I went to The Yellow Party in Indy back in May and left with a pair of Rubens Barrichello race worn boots from his Ferrari days), more details are available here.
