2016 INDYCAR UK FANTASY LEAGUE – Competition Guidelines
The Fantasy League is now open, for this season and we have no limit now for entries or location.
Each player has a team line up of three drivers.
Players will pick one driver from three groups – 'A, B and C' – these drivers must be from different teams.
Driver groups will be determined on 2015 points standings / experience (for newcomers), these will be released 29/02/2016 ready for the season and selection will take place on the Indycar UK website. Part time entries will not be considered for selection. With split entries, for example #20 ECR you will be awarded points for that car.
The points earned by that driver over the race weekend will contribute to the player’s total (Including Qualifying / Heat Races, Pole, Leading Laps, Most Laps Lead, and Total Race Points)
Three driver transfers will be permitted at set times throughout the season. These are after Round 6 – Indy 500, and Round 10 – Iowa and Round 13 - Pocono, the points earned by the outgoing driver will be retained, and the incoming driver effectively starting with zero for your team.
Players will need to select their driver line up by midnight GMT on 6/3/2016, and driver transfers by the Thursday prior to the next race weekend.
For the Indy 500, players can select an extra driver for their line up, but this must be a non Full-Time or one off entrant, these drivers will be listed prior to the Qualification weekend in May. Any new entries listed after 19/5/16 will not be included.
'Double-Down Driver' - pick your driver who will earn the double points from the Indy 500 and Sonoma, just remember that driver is for both races and can not form part of you A, B or C groups.
The password for the 'Driver Line Up Selection' page will be emailed out in due course to those who are entered.
